I think we should have a ranking system that is bigger than "Members". I mean, people like Requiem and Sway have all the good stuff because they are admins; all I am thinking is for more privileges to the most active members. Thats all.

Loelin, members who desire power on the forums tend to be dumber, younger, and/or newer. You've been here long enough to know that none of the older members, in age and membership, desire any kind of power that they already don't have.

Just because I'm curious, would you mind telling me just what exactly you had in mind? Post deletion, larger avatars, ability to delete/close your own topics? What?

I don't think this is a horrible topic in that Loelin has no right to pitch the idea he did, but dude, you have to be more specific. Saying senior members should have "more privileges" is extremely vague, and nobody can really gauge whether or not it's a reasonable request unless you tell us exactly what "privileges" you're referring to.

The site is fine. Nothing has needed to be changed since the RP section got cleaned up a bit, but even then most people on this site didn't care at the time.

I think we also grant the ability to choose your forum title, edit topic titles and descriptions, and upload larger files, if you're an active member. I can't recall if there is much else.

Yeah, I mean I don't really see what other privileges can be given to active members that don't fall into the moderator realms. In terms of larges avatars, I don't think that allowing them to be any bigger is such a good idea. That sort of thing always leads to people uploading these huge avatars with these weird dimensions that make the forum look ugly whenever they post.

...Like the ability to make multiple signatures, like Requiem and Sway, and also the ability to close their own topics (if they have a really high post count), and access to a secret arcade.

Multiple signatures were originally designed as a moderator perk.

An arcade is something I think we're unlikely to implement despite us having a few requests previously. We're not being stubborn it or putting down ideas. The main reason that we - or I - have stayed clear of implementing something like this is that lots of forums have arcades and lots of sites have flash games. We wouldn't be bringing anything new to the table and at best, will likely be doing it worse than other sites already out there.
