It could have all the same teams but have a few new features.

1. Better team blast system. (More than one team blast)

2. It could have a new team or two.

3. Sonic X voice actors......but bring back the original Chaotix. (Their new voices suck.)

4. New villain.


the teams should be as follows.

Team Sonic: Sonic, Knuckles, Tails
Team Dark: Shadow, E-123 Ω, and Rouge.
Team Rose: Amy, Big, Cream (And Cheese)
Team Chaotix: Espio, Vector, Charmy.
Team Dimension: Silver, Blaze, (New Character)
Team Relic: Tikal, Chaos, Emerl (Maybe?)

There's been discussion on and off about this, but I doubt it would happen at this point. Also, they would likely bring in an old character or two instead of making a new character for something like a Heroes sequel. If any new time arrived, I think it'd likely have Bean the Dynamite, Bark the Polar Bear, or maybe Metal Sonic. Mighty the Armadillo might make a comeback, but it's doubtful.

Still, I really don't think it'd happen.

I know I've said this countless times before, but since I doubt you've seen me do so any of those times: A better Sonic Heroes would have only one team composed of Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails, twice, or if possible, thrice as many unique interesting stages, little to no voice acting, little to no story, and an updated Chao Garden which outdoes the one in the two Adventure games.

I would also like for the stages to be as fast paced as the ones from Sonic Unleashed's awesome day time stages.

Honestly I don't want to see another 3D game as much as I'd like to see Sonic The Hedgehog 4 on (virtual) Genesis hardware.

A sequel to Sonic Heroes, IMO, is the last thing the franchise needs.

How wouldn't it be a Heroes sequel? Most games have updated/changes in gameplay/features from their predecessors. While the addition of an occasional single player mode and a Chao World and Chao Adventure would be new things put in the game to make it more enjoyable, the fact that the game would still have mainly team-based action stages means that it can still be considered a sequel.

If it wouldn't be a sequel, then Sonic Adventure 2 isn't a sequel to Sonic Adventure.

The first one sucked. The second one would be worse. Face it, after Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, only the Handheld games were any good; and look how they're doing now, just another marketing scheme pile of shit. There is nothing good about Sonic games anymore, they're too Kid-Oriented. The only thing the old fans get now days are re-releases.
