Theme Words
First: Water
Water Body: Aaron is granted exceptional speed and flexibility due to his body structure. He is also able to go underwater indefinitely and doesn't tire of swimming. He gains two more actions per post within water. Takes double HP damage from electrical attacks and half damage from fire attacks. Takes double HP damage in temperatures above 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Number of actions per post decrease by 1 at temperatures under 32 degrees Fahrenheit. He is able to change shape (cosmetic effect only). His injuries are mental strain from keeping his body together after an attack. Aaron counts as a source of water for all intents and purposes except healing.
Water Absorption: Aaron's body structure causes water to heal him. Water attacks heal what they would normally cause in damage and injury and contact with a water source heals a level of injury per post as long as the water isn't steam, water vapor in the air, ice, or tainted (first post heals a light injury, second heals a serious injury, third heals a critical injury). However, contact with tainted water causes him to receive a light injury per post and water attacks utilizing tainted water that are aimed at him will do double HP damage. He must take an action to acknowledge any healing/injury that occurs.
Second: Waterworldian
Hydrokinesis: Aaron is able to take control of water in any of its states of matter. This leaves him more likely to be hit as his concentration is elsewhere. If he his hit, any currently controlled water drops. The larger the source, the more of his concentration is elsewhere and the less he can move. If used in offensively, this will cause the level of injury that loses the same one action per turn than the number of actions he uses to attack. If used defensively, is able to block the same level of injury that it would cause if it were an attack. Cannot move at all (other than to control the water) if source is tainted due to increased mental strain from having to deal with contaminates and any attacks he uses with contaminated sources will only create a light injury. If the source is steam or ice, the type of injury caused by an offensive attack is the one below what it would normally be. If defensive, steam blocks one injury level lower than usual and ice blocks one higher. If offensive, deals double HP damage to fire and half to electricity. If defensive, blocks one injury level higher damage against fire and one lower against electricity. This can be used as either long range or short range.
Waterworld Sapphire: A sapphire from the Waterworld. It can not be used against Aaron unless he is under mind control and can not be used to reduce his HP to 0 if he is. Cannot be destroyed.
Third: Prince
Sword training: Aaron is capable of using any sword fairly well due to training he received on the Waterworld.
Sapphire Transformation: The royal family of the Waterworld is capable of changing sapphires from the planet into a variety of shapes. Aaron, as prince of the Waterworld, has received this ability. However, due to his practice being cut short by his planet's destruction, he is only able to transform it into a sword. This takes up two actions, and he is unable to do it if he is unable to do two actions in the post. The sword formed causes a serious injury to the opponent. At the cost of one action, it can cause a critical injury to the opponent. He is able to revert it manually for only one action. Alternatively, if the sapphire should be removed from Aaron's possession for any reason, it will revert back to its natural form automatically.
Note: Any value in the above skills that would cause something to equal a non-whole number is rounded to the number that would be least convenient for Aaron, unless it would cause something to be equal to 0, in which case it would be 1. If the opponent has any damage multiplies or injury additions for water attack and defense, Aaron's will take place if they attack Aaron and theirs if Aaron attacks them.
Roleplaying
Backstory:
In a distant solar system of a distant galaxy, there lived a civilization of water elementals. There, Aaron was born, the crown prince of the Waterworld. There, he lived a happy life among the rest of his people. However, like all good things, this time had to come to an end. Enemies of his planet sought to destroy his kind. And while the planet's defenses were down, they did.
Before the planet was destroyed, Aaron was sent to a far away planet where it was presumed that he would be able to survive after the destruction. The planet chosen was Earth.
Since arriving, Aaron has settled into life on this planet fairly well. He has discovered other elementals from the same galaxy, however he has yet to find another from his planet. He tries to help anyone he comes across, and would not harm anyone, because of the pain that he had to suffer from losing everything and everyone he held dear.
Example post:
Aaron had someone or something following him. He knew it. The forest was far too silent. “Target acquired,” spoke a mechanical voice from behind him. Aaron broke into a run. Why robots tended to say that when they were sneaking up on someone he would never know, but know he knew where it was. Unable to see where he was going through the thick trees, he ran into a small robot with a splat (light injury: -1 HP) and lost his form. “Preparing for capture.” The robot unleashed an weak electrical discharge into the puddle that was Aaron (light electrical injury: - 2 HP). When Aaron recovered from the shock, he quickly slid away from his robotic attacker and reformed. “Come and get me, rust bucket.” The robot lunged at him at full speed and attempted to hit Aaron with another charge, but Aaron parted his body to let the attack pass through and solidified his form to halt any movement from his aggressor. He then pulled a sapphire out of his body. “This is going to hurt you more than it is going to hurt me,” he said as his gem turned into a sword, and he immediately jammed the blade into the robot's head dealing a critical injury and causing it to crumple into a heap at his feet. He returned the blade to it's original form and, with a smirk, said, “That was easy enough.”
A twig snapping behind him caught his attention. “Not again...”
