[Pyroman]

Ok, first RP for SOLRP V2. I have room for three players other than myself, so get crackin' on making characters. This RP will start as soon as three people join it.

{Story}

"Hundreds of years ago in a small, nearly forgotten country there was a shining city. This city was ruled over by a kind and just king that who was loved by his people. The city prospered under his rule and the people were happy."

"However, all good things must come to an end..."

"Over time, a plague worked its way through the surrounding countryside and eventually reached the city. After claiming many lives, it finally infected the king. When the king died, he left no heir and the people of city were left to bicker amongst themselves over who should rule them next as their home went from shining to decrepit."

"A month or so after the king died, a mysterious rider appeared in the city. With him, he carried seven magical emeralds that he used to perform miracles. All at once, the plague was gone and the city began to shine again. The people had found their new king."

Derek closed the book he was reading and threw it against the wall of his hotel room. "Those ungrateful fools," he growled, "After what my ancestor did for them they chose to betray the royal family? Damn them!"

After taking a few deep breaths, he picked up the book once again. "Then again," he mumbled, "My ancestor had those seven magical emeralds. If I could get them... I'd show those mongrels once and for all who calls the shots in my kingdom. But where to start looking?"

Turning on the TV, he flipped through the channels. Eventually he came to a news broadcast. The reporter stood outside of a museum stating, "I'm standing outside of Station Square Museum where they say that one of the seven Chaos Emeralds is on display. Some theorize that these stones have mysterious, almost magical abilities when brought together and to the people of Station Square, these gems bring up memories of both great disasters and wondrous miracles."

Derek's jaw went slack. "Well, that's awfully convenient," he stated, "But I guess this just means I'm taking a trip to Station Square..."

I want to join with Artomis as my character(I apologize for earlier Pyroman I haven't played an RP for a long time...so feel free to remind me of things...and please tell me when I screw up I've worked with way too many people that just complain about me but not tell me what for.)

Ok We're ready to start. Remember, only three actions can be by a character taken in each post. You don't even have to take all three, that's just the limit. Talking counts as an action.

Seeing as this RP is going to have a lot to do with the Chaos Emeralds, let me just state that nobody starts with an emerald or knows for sure where they are, but the locations for each emerald will be revealed as the story progresses.

Turns order:

Aaron has the first turn.

Then Artomis.
Lastly, Derek. Cycle starts over.

[Aaron the Waterhog]

Aaron stood at a distance from the Station Square Museum, pondering his next activity. A few yards away, someone let out a gasp fainted. "Why do people here get so over-excited when they see a water elemental?" He shook his head. "Anyway," he said to himself as he looked at the museum, "the Station Square Museum always has such interesting exhibits. I should definitely visit it while I'm here." Noticing the crowd forming around the person who had passed out, he thought to himself, "Maybe I should make myself more opaque while I'm here..." Staring into the distance, he concentrated on his body until it began to have a more solid appearance.

Standing on top of a roof-top, Tyko grabbed the railing tightly in a state of Acrophobia. He saw the large group of people around the Station Square Museum, while trying to make out who was who. He was in this "gang", and he had been commanded to be for the look out for anyone that is a member of one of the rival gangs. Just in case.
"God, it's fucking freezing!" he quietly said. He was shaking a little.

Consciousness was finally seeping into Artomis' frozen body and as he came more into wakefulness his large rabbit-like hears picked up voices.He listened closer,and recognized them to be from one of the many gangs that littered the city.One voice was gruff while the other had a slight whispery voice,both conversed in hushed tones but artomis' ears were so sensitive they sounded no more than two feet away.

"So we gonna do this for real?"said the gruff voice."Yeah the boss said that the heist job would be at the station square museum." replied the other.

Artomis quietly slipped away hoping to reach the museum in time to warn them.

[Pyroman]

Derek entered the Station Square Museum's lobby . Looking around, he found a directory that showed where the exhibits were located. "Alright," he whispered to himself as a wicked grin crept across his face, "Chaos Emerald is on the second floor. Duly noted."

[Aaron the Waterhog]

Having finished his appearance change, Aaron began working his way toward the museum. As he neared the entrance, he noticed just how big the crowd around the building was. "I wonder why it is so busy here today," he said aloud. He grinned to himself in anticipation of what may be waiting inside of the building in front of him.

[HTM]

Shaking, almost out of hypothermia, Tyko swears a little to himself and walks to a door that leads inside. From there, he walks down some stairs and heads out. Thinking to himself, "Why should I be there, when I could beat up some goddamn juvenile's ass right now?". He met another set of stairs leading down, and proceeded downwards.

Artomis ran for what seemed like an eternity when He finally saw the museum, and he was in luck a guard was waiting just outside as if he expecting his news.
The Guard looked at him sternly as he climbed toward him,and slightly out of breath,he spoke between gasps of air.
"S...Sir....Th...there's...a...a...g...gang...planning to....to rob...The...Museum!"he finally rasped out.

Scourgekito, I'm not sure why you introduced a new set of characters (the gang), but you're really not supposed to do stuff like that unless you're the game starter. However, I've decided not to really penalize you for it.
I'm the game starter here and I'm taking my position to hijack control of these gang members from you. You can keep role playing with Artomis, but I just got a great idea for how to incorporate them into the RP a bit more smoothly and with relevance to the plot.

To those of you that feel the need to introduce a whole new set of characters, PM me before you do so.

Derek climbed up the stairs and eventually came to the exhibit he was seeking. Shining with a brilliant light and sitting on a pedestal in the middle of a large room was a red jewel the size of his fist inside of a glass case. Velvet ropes formed a circle around the pedestal and a plaque that read "CHAOS EMERALD" sat on a smaller pedestal outside the ropes.

Looking around, Derek could see a security camera in each corner of the room and two guards by each exit. As he approached his prize, the fallen prince could almost taste the energy that the jewel was giving off. His eyes grew wide with anticipation.


{Story point}

That's when the alarm sounded a metal cage slammed down around the velvet ropes.

Downstairs A group of street thugs had smashed open one the emergency exits from the outside. One turned to the others and ordered, "Well boys, it's time to get that emerald for the boss.Go get it!"

Several thugs with pistols and baseball bats stormed into the museum, commanding everyone inside to get down.

[Aaron the Waterhog]

Aaron was nearing the doors as the alarm went off. "A robbery?" Fighting against the crowd of people running in the opposite direction, he finally made it close enough to the entrance to get a look inside. Upon seeing the armed gang members and the people on the ground, he ducked quickly inside and hid, preparing to help fight off the gang members if it became necessary.

Tyko reached the exit door, and just as he walked outside, he heard the alarm. "Fuck! They've already come!" he thought to himself. He hurried himself inside again, and planned a little ahead from what he saw. "Fuck it!" he then said, after determined that the best solution was just to go and attack them head-on. Of course behind cover. So by that, he charged out of the door and took cover behind a car.

Artomis's eyes widened as he heard the alarm.'I was too late!' he thought.He was about to leave with the throng so the guard wouldn't think he was one of them, when he noticed someone else going in instead of out. Before he could force himself to change his mind, he ran inside.

[Pyroman]

As the entrance lobby turned into a fight between the gang members and the security guards, two of the thugs wielding baseball bats ran up the stairs. Turning around, Derek thrust one hand toward the stairwell just as one of the gang members came into view. A pulse of black swirls flew from his palm and into the unsuspecting criminal's face.

The other thug stopped in his tracks as his comrade was knocked to the floor. With a wicked glare, Derek stated, "That is known as the Dark Blast and I can do it as many times as I want. Leave now, this emerald is mine."

The thug apparently didn't agree as his next course of action was to help his friend to his feet and respond, "Yeah? Try and keep it from us, batty!"

"I've gotta help the guards," Aaron thought to himself. He began focusing water from any sources that he could and unleashed a blast of water strong enough to cause a serious injury at the thug with the pistol, hoping to catch him by surprise.

Tyko sneaked to the front of the abandoned car, to peek around it. He saw the security guards fighting the armed thugs. Tyko just huffed a little, then ran to the entrance, just behind a column outside. Now he peeked a little to the inside, wondering which one of them he should attack or even shoot. The guards or the thugs. He hesitated.
