Because of the incredibly unorganized way that people tend to RP on forums, I'm laying down some rules so that everyone can play in a fair and orderly environment. With each rule, I have a reason for putting it in place. If you have a problem, PM me.


RULE 1
Players take turns.

Far too often, two players have their characters meet in a three player RP and go off for several posts on their own side story while the third guy has to sit in the corner and read everything that they've done while he was AFK. So, I'll let whoever started the RP decide turn order so that everybody gets a fair chance to paly. I strongly suggest that you subscribe to the RPs you’re involved in so that you don’t miss your turn and hold everything up.

RULE 2
A maximum of 3 actions are allowed per character per post.

This rule was made because of so many RPs where a character went through a huge attack combination and ran an entire obstacle course in a single post. This doesn't give the other players a chance to react and can lead to narrating/hit calling in combat. Multiple actions can be taken at the same time if they are within reason. Ex: Walking and talking can be done simultaneously, driving a car and juggling cannot.

The rules concerning combat will have some more definite standards for what is considered an action for obvious reasons.

RULE 3
All character must be approved by either NiGHTs Noob or myself (Pyroman) before they are used.

This rule has been around since I was put in charge and it has prevented many an unbalanced character or ability from being unleashed upon the RP section. We're keeping it.

RULE 4
If you God Mode, make a Mary Sue/Gary Stu or be a prick in general then I will do very bad things to you.

Seriously, don't fucking do it.
