They have ruined enough cartoons, and old movies, they don't need to do it AGAIN. Well, i'm going to go find something to keep my mind off this. Normally, i'll go and watch new remixes of old things, but i can tell this one is going to be too ridiculous.

As fitting as it is for Sean Penn to play a stooge, I have to ask why... He's not fucking funny!

Why the hell is this even being made in the first place is what I'd like to know. Christ, we don't need to "update" everything ever created for any form of multimedia prior to 1995. The whole reason The Three Stooges have achieved such a lasting legacy in the comedy world is because their humor is timeless. Comedy by its very nature tends to be bound to the era it's created in and looses relevance over time, but TTS managed to perfect a very simple yet extremely rare form of comedy that transcends the boundaries of time and retains its potency from generation to generation. The Three Stooges don't need to be updated for modern audiences; if they did, they wouldn't be considered the classic act that they are, and no one would give a shit about them to begin with.

Well, we could always march onto Hollywood and protest all the producers. With molotovs. And tazers. And a rocket launcher or two.

I have to be honest, I saw news of this a few days back and I'm actually pretty interested in it because I think it's really ballsy.

It will probably be awful, but I'm still extremely curious and not necessarily willing to write it off before they even have a script.
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.
