MADHOUSE is one of my favourite studios, definitely going to check that out.

I am so looking forward to this one. I'll be sure to post in here once I get a chance to see it!

I have a strong urge to go watch Batman: Gotham Knight again now. I really loved that set of shorts.

Man, I always found that whole infinite Batman death thing to be kinda messed up given how badass the Dark Knight is, but found it strangely cool.

Anyway, Public Enemies is looking like it'll be pretty awesome! That clip you posted was cool, though whole fight with Metallo wasn't much of a fight... I wonder, was that just the beginning of the fight?

Just watched Superman/batman Public Enemies ...

TOO SHORT & I DIDN'T WANT IT TO END!! Could have been an hour Longer and I would've been happy. They kind of sacrificed some story to pack more action in. Got to see Starfire, and Kitana kickin' some booty. Conroy as batman was awesome as always. Tim Daley is Superman... plain and simple.

It's awesome although the special features are pretty limited.. I'm not totally sure they have anything planned after this though. The special features did not have a sneak peek like previous releases...

oh wait, I found something Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.. I guess in this one the JLA will be fighting the Crime Syndicate (from Earth 3).

HEre's a sneek peek for crisis on two earths.

Live-action DC TV series I recommend for all of you:

Posted Image

You can watch it here for free (in the US) or buy the DVD. I watched about 4 episodes and so far it's pretty good. It has its funny moments and lots of great action. Shame it was cancelled after the first season, it definitely had potential.

no.

Huntress was Catwoman and Batman's kid in this. It could be an alternate universe I guess.. but i never found interest in it. Might check it out now tho.

Superman/Batman was really disappointing for me. I don't know, it didn't have the right feel and pacing. I think the next arc they did with Kara and going to Apokolips and all that would have been a more B.A. adaptation. This just sort of fell flat after the amazing JLU Cadmus arc for me. Not bad by any means, I enjoyed it, but I was disappointed that it didn't blow my mind. Oh well, worth seeing.

Crisis on Two Earths looks fucking sweet though.
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

yeah it was kind of complimentary to the graphic novel.

They should have made it longer and more based on the way that Clark and Bruce play off of each other.. but it is what it is.

I guess Crisis on two Earths is going to be a completely original piece. I mean I know that Owlman, Ultraman, and Superwoman exist in the comics.. but from the plot so far It looks to be not based on existing work.

Still looks good. Timm and co. usually do a lot better with original stories than they do with adaptations (save for JL: The New Frontier, which still needed 20 more minutes), and I expect this to be a good one.

I actually really Dug the Crisis on two Earths. Did anyone see the Specter Short? It was really kind of neato!

The Next DC Animaterd Feature is going to be Batman:Under the Red Hood.

I looks forward to this one. Black mask, is in, as well as Joker. Visuals so far look pretty good. I hope it;s long enough and is more story packed. Crisis on two earths was a great story, But Public enemies was almost NO story.

So, has anyone seen Batman: Under the Red Hood yet? I checked out some more clips of it on YouTube and it looks really great. John DiMaggio does an interesting Joker. At first it sounds really different, but it's actually pretty good.

It's not bad. I sort of feel like I'm outgrowing these animated features the longer they go on, but for what it is, it's pretty fun. DiMaggio does make a good Joker. Jensen Ackles is a terrible voice actor apparently though.

The story is very tight and doesn't feel rushed as these features sometimes tend to be; the relevant plot was compressed very well between certain comic arcs like Death in the Family and Hush. I do have some complaints about cheesy dialogue, though, especially when (barely a spoiler)

Spoiler

Overall, worth watching.

I know this is just TV Tropes, but, assuming its accurate about the upcoming, we won't be getting that one for a long, long time, assuming they even have plans to animate it. Haven't these movies been coming out (semi-)annually?

Glad Baconstein brought up Batman: Under the Red Hood, because I completely forgot about it. Will definitely have to buy that one soon.

Edit:

By the way, anyone got an opinion on Crisis on Two Earths?
