No tricky jumps in Black. There *ARE* Red Ninjas, Cat Fiends, and Alma.

Any flickering orange Shadow Clones?

I always loved that power-up.

No shadow clones, sadly. There *IS* the Jump 'n Slash technique, though! Except the enemies use it against you. The good news? It still really, REALLY hurts.

Yes! The Art of the Fire Wheels is in fact a spell in that game.

Also, the Windmill Throwing star shows up, as well. So do regular ones. And exploding ones!

What if I pick up only Black, and then keep saving to get Brutal Legend just a bit later? Sounds like a good option.

NG2 is just a waste and a frustration. Black is perfection. Get Black.

What about Sigma? Why get black when you can get Sigma?

I would need a PS3 to get Sigma. See a problem?

Anyways, I just went and picked up Black now, haven't even put it in yet.

They had a buy 2 get 1 free deal on select Xbox titles, but I couldn't find anything else I wanted. I saw DoA Ultimate, which I'm pretty sure is a remake of 2, which is the only one I like since it actually feels like a game instead of fanservice with a controller. I have the PS2 version though, and even though the PS2 version probably sucks in comparison it's still the same game, so I filed it under 'maybe', but then I couldn't find a third game.

Well besides 4 (because I haven't really played it) DoAU is the best in the DoA series. It has the Sega Saturn version of 1. Then for DoA 2 it came out after 3, so graphics are better. The fighting system is like a combination of 2 and 3. They also added Hitomi a s playable character, though no story mode I think.

Okay, i just got this today, and... well... What the hell?
Where the hell did all the blood go?! After a good fight the walls were painted red from odd blood splatters. But none! I'm slicing someone's arm off and all I'm getting is a wisp of blue flame and a spurt of blood?! This is an insult. Ninja Gaiden 2's gore was off the damn charts. I'm only in the first level, so I'm hoping it picks up later on, what with all the blood. I can't go on. This frustrates me to no end. I need a drink.

If all you want is copious amounts of blood, why did you bother spending it on a game? Your body has six pints of blood and I'm sure you can find a razor or two. Now that's entertainment for free.

So as I run through Path of the Warrior I can't help but feel the game is extremely easy. Even in NGS when I got midway through the game I was swearing up a storm at Alma and the game in general. NGS2, I am just waltzing around killing things with my big ass staff and the scythe of ridiculousness.

Maybe I was doing really poorly, but I thought NGS was a hell of a lot tougher than NGS2.

I can't help but shake this feeling too. It would seem that NG is moving from 'crazy hardcore' to 'mainstream' disgustingly quick. I'd bet that NG3 is rated 'T', for imporved sales. We don't REALLY need lots of gore or sisnister AI to sell a game. We need Vampires and NO BLOOD to sell a game. To make that sweet moneycake!

Since Spoilers isn't working:

What the fucking hell was with that final boss. Shoot an arrow, watch him gag, shoot an arrow, watch him gag. Dodge blood vomit. Shoot arrow. Gag, blood vomit. Avoid laser mouth. Rinse repeat for half an hour. It was tedious more than difficult. Oh and then the final final form was even dumber. TWIN DRAGONS JUST RAPE LAWL. There was no skill, just mash Square and Triangle buttons until the boss is dead. NGS made me rage and feel like I accomplished something. This was pathetic.

Yeah, the only problem I had with the last boss in NG2 was I kept getting to him with little to no healing items. Not that you needed them.

The Exclusion of Solo Mission Modes get my goat, too. No way this is better than Sigma.

There is solo mission modes, you just have to beat the game first.
