An orange, Mobian fox lay in mid-air, floating in complete darkness. He didn't know where he was, or if he was anywhere at all, he just lay there. Then, he noticed that he was slowly floating downwards, further into nothingness. Suddenly, he realised he was in some form of water vessel and was descending to the bottom. He began to wave his arms and kick his feet, but it made no difference. Then, he reached the sandy surface at the bottom, closed his eyes and waited for his last breath to slip out of his mouth... But it never did. He realised he could breathe, opened his eyes and looked up at the bright blue sky. The sun shone in his eyes, almost so much that he feared he would burn. He leapt up to his feet and saw a familiar, Mobian bee hovering over the nearby sea. First, the bee waved at the fox, but then his facial expression turned fearful and he pointed at him. The fox then saw that the bee wasn't pointing at him, but behind him. So the fox turned, and saw a huge, white explosion behind him. The bee held out his hand to the fox. The fox began to run to the bee, to grab his hand, but the white light engulfed them both before they could make contact. The fox couldn't see anything, the white light had blocked his eyesight. But then he realised it was actually sunlight, opened his eyes, and saw two girls standing there; a rabbit and another bee. The rabbit smiled at him, and the girl bee smiled at the boy bee who stood in front of her. The bees began to hug each other, and the rabbit and fox began to hug each other. But as soon as they touched each other, the girls vanished in a puff of black smoke. The smoke spread until it had consumed everything, and the fox was left falling through darkness and nothingness again...

Tails the Fox awoke on the infamous shore of Adabat. The soft, sandy surface kept him warm, and the tide brushed against his feet. It was the perfectly peaceful life on Adabat. He had been fishing in the sea for dinner, and must have drifted off. He had already caught three fish, so he had earned a little rest. But as soon as Tails shut his eyes again, Cheese the Chao began to jump up and down on his chest. "Chao! Chao!" He cried. Tails began to moan, he was exhausted and couldn't handle liveliness. But then he heard a familiar, girlish laugh. Suddenly, he was ready to take on the world. Cream the Rabbit, armed with a skipping rope, ran over to him and Cheese.
"Come on up you lazy fox!" She said in her usual, sweet and giggly voice.
"Cream," Tails began. "I've caught three fish, I deserve a break." Cream and Cheese then helped Tails up off the ground.
"We just knew we were gonna find you snoozing down here." Cream said. "Mrs Prower told us to come and tell you to go back home. Something about..." Cream turned to Cheese. "Fish?" Cheese nodded.
"Chao!" He cried. Tails picked the fish up from the floor and was about to dart off when he stopped, turned to Cream and asked:
"Say, Cream," He began. "What was your hometown like? Y'know, before you moved here."
"I've told you before, Tails." Cream said. "I don't remember."
"Nothing at all?" Tails asked. Cheese shook his head sadly. "Would you ever like to go back?"
"Well... we like it here." Cream said. Cheese nodded. "But... we wouldn't mind to go back and see it, would we?" Cheese shook his head happily. "I mean... we might even have family there... maybe even a daddy." Tails noticed the sadness in her voice, said goodbye and went back home.

You know, this is so fucking funny, because it sounds exactly like the beginning of Kingdom Hearts. Way to be original.

OK. That was very like the Kingdom hearts beginnings. I agree with Shock.
