[???????]

I made this image last night in GIMP before I went to sleep and plan on eventually using it as my desktop's background:

I feel that it's missing something, though... In my opinion, it looks as if this image needs something more. I was hoping that one of you guys could maybe make this cooler or give me some ideas.

How about putting your favorite characters from Brawl on there? Is there a certain route that you're thinking about in terms of what you want added? You could have a black outline around the image and instead of having a purely black background have clouds in a sky or some other sort of background image behind it.

I might do this sometime. I might try to get some purple ominous looking clouds to add. Maybe instead of chaging the background from black to those clouds, I use the clouds on a higher layer and just lower the opacity enough to the point where the clouds are still visible, but the layer under it is still the main focus. That, or make it so that the only difference is that the area outside of the flames have a higher opacity so that the black area won't look so dull. How's that sound to you?

This doesn't sound like a bad idea. Go with it and see what happens.
