Author notes:
This is my first attempt at a fan-fic, so please be honest. Point out any mistakes, because my number one reason for typing this is to improve my writing ability.

Another major reason for my writing this is because I have always wanted to put my own spin on the Soinc series, bringing back characters that I rather enjoyed.

I don't really like the title I have given my series, but I needed something for the time being. I'll change it later.

I know that the Tails Doll has no actual powers other than flying, but I quote enjoy the creepiness factor that fans have given him, so I'm going to be using that.



In the deepest reaches of the Eggman Empire, Dr. Eggman toiled away, night after night, studying each of his battles with Sonic and his friends. No longer would he summon a monster or a giant robot without an overall strategy to finally defeat that blasted hedgehog himself. Eggman knew that Sonic was already a threat on his own, but with his ever growing list of friends, that pesky hedgehog was more than he ever bargained for. Eggman took careful notation of his past attempts. Eggman was surprised at how much he had forgotten over the years. After many days of careful studying, Eggman leaned back on his chair and gave a loud laugh.

"Muhahaha! This new plan possibly cannot fail! Sonic, you shall finally be defeated, and the glorious Eggman Empire will begin!" Eggman looked at his list of essential items he needed, and went straight to work on building and reviving robots to carry out his evil plan.



Sonic was running along at full speed, like usual. The rush of the wind against him excited him, and he felt the need to push himself even harder. Sonic turned a corner and found himself at a dead end. It didn't matter much to Sonic, because he found one of the most powerful items in the known universe. No you silly readers, not the Chaos Emerald; that would be too easy. No, it was the magical 1up, with its ability to save Sonic and his friends from death.

Sonic turned and prepared to run off when he saw a shadow pass over him. Sonic ran outside the dead-end and saw a red figure running along the mountain above him. Sonic rolled up into a ball and spin dashed to the top of the wall. He reached the ledge with ease and proceeded to chase the red figure. Sonic was right behind it in a matter of seconds.

"Hey Sonic, long time no see," the red figure called back.

"Right back at ya," Sonic responded, to him. The red figure was none other than Mighty the Armadillo. Mighty slowed down a bit so that he and Sonic were neck and neck. "So where ya been buddy?"

"Here and there. Just wanted to get out and see the world. I've explored most of it, I think, but still got a ways to go."

Sonic looked around for a bit. "Hey, where's Ray?" he asked Mighty.

Mighty shrugged his shoulders.

"Wasn't he with you Mighty?"

"He was at first, but then I got captured by Dr. Robotnik."

"Actually, we refer to him as Eggman now," Sonic interrupted.

"Really?" Mighty paused to laugh. "Well, anyways, I'm sure Knuckles and Vector have told you all about our adventures. Vector asked me to join his detective agency, but I said, 'No, thanks.' I decided to continue with my quest to see the world, but without Ray or anyone else it was kinda lonely."

"Aw, I missed you too Mighty," a voice above them said. It was Ray, floating down to join Sonic and Mighty. "How's it been guys?"

"Ray! You're back too?" Sonic said, delighted. Two of his best friends had returned on the same day. "Mighty here was just about to tell me of his amazing adventures."

"They're not that amazing," Mighty responded. "At least, not compared to what you and the others have done."

"Yeah, I can't believe you stopped the Ark from crashing into the planet," Ray chipped in.

"Nothing big," Sonic told them. "Hey, why don't we go back into town? I'm sure you guys would want to relax some after all your adventures around the world. You can also meet all of your old friends and some new ones too."

"Sounds like a plan!" Mighty and Ray said. The three friends ran off to meet the others in Station Square, finally finished construction after the Chaos incident.


Eggman gave out another evil laugh as he pulled a ratty old doll from storage. Eggman fixed it up a little bit and suspended it in one of his machines. After a few days suspended in this state, the doll finally opened its neon red eyes. The Tails Doll was reborn.

Glad you like it. I've actually planned out the overall direction I want this fan-fiction to go. Unfortunately, it might take one or two boring parts before the epic part starts so that I can get a chance to introduce most of the characters I'd like to use. I like to introduce people instead of them popping in out of nowhere, unless it is extremely dramatic and epic.

I've actually thought through the new subplot with the Chaos Emeralds I introduced, so wait until a later chapter when I fully explain it before jumping at my throat. No, it does not involve time travel, and nothing in this fan-fic will involve time travel. Sorry, but that also means no Silver.



A bright light was shined upon three figures. "Cricky mate, what the hell was that for?" the first figure said in his Australian accent.

"So sorry for the suddenness gentlemen," Eggman's voice sounded over the intercom. "I usually like to be flashy, but time is short and I have little time to waste."

"Well get on with it! I need to blow some stuff up!" the second figure said. The third figure stood silently, as usual.

"Well I'll get to the point. I require your services. I will pay you handsomely for every Chaos Emerald you bring here," Eggman said.

"Just how much are we dealing with here?" the first figure asked.

"How about $100,000 each for every three Chaos Emeralds?"

"Make it $700,000. No less."

"WHY YOU LITTLE!" Eggman quickly calmed down. "Alright, alright. You're lucky I have no time on such trivial matters. Done."

"Alright. $2,100,000 dollars, if you'd please," the first figure said as each person brought forward a Chaos Emerald.

"ALREADY?!" Eggman was astounded. "You three truly are the best treasure hunters, aren't you? I knew I could trust you, Fang, Bean, and Bark."



Amy sighed as she looked out the window to the blue sky. Lately every cloud has looked like Sonic to Amy, and nothing could get him out of her mind. "Sonic..." she said in a low, mournful voice. Amy had no idea on how she could possibly get Sonic to accept her love.

It had been a couple of years since Perfect Chaos wreaked havoc upon Station Square, and most of the rebuilding had already been finished. Many of the people that used to live in Station Square decided to move away permanently, so the town was quite under-populated. With so many people gone, Amy had even less to do, and was bored beyond belief most of the time. All there was really to do anymore was go to the beach or to Twinkle Park, but that was growing rather stale.

As Amy continued to daydream, Sonic suddenly appeared outside her window. Amy jumped back and gave a scream, not expecting Sonic to show up like that. Wind poured into the room and caused everything to be knocked over.

"Sorry for the sudden entrance Amy," Sonic said, "but no one was answering the front door."

"That's still no excuse to come up to my window like that!" Amy exclaimed angrily. She fixed up her dress and asked, "So what do you want?", still angry at Sonic.

"Well, two old friends came around, and they need a place to stay for a couple of days. I tried Tails' workshop and Vanilla's house already, but neither of them were in at the time."

"Oh," Amy answered. "Alright, we can't have them out on the streets. Now go downstairs and wait for a normal person to open the door."

A few minutes later Sonic, Ray, and Mighty were situated inside Amy's living room. Amy was in the kitchen serving some drinks for her new guests. "So, Ray, Mighty, you've been exploring the world all this time?" Amy asked once everyone was comfortable. She passed out a beverage to Ray and Mighty, but purposefully didn't give one to Sonic. She usually couldn't stay mad at Sonic, but his rude appearance shook her up quite a bit. Sonic kept quiet, not really caring since he wasn't very thirsty anyways.

Mighty and Ray told about their adventures, finding lost treasure and discovering new places. But the conclusion of their adventures were that they each had found a Chaos Emerald!

"That's impossible!" Sonic said, stunned. "I had all seven not more than a couple of weeks ago! They couldn't have dispersed that quickly!"

Mighty and Ray were also astonished. "I found this Chaos Emerald about five months ago," Mighty remarked. "I found mine almost a year ago!" Ray replied.

Amy was also confused, but she said, "Look, you guys just got back from your adventures. Why don't we save this discussion for another day? Let's just have fun today!"

Sonic, Mighty, and Ray smiled and nodded. "Let's have a party!" Ray said, feeling in a festive mood. "Yeah, it'll be a great way to reunite with our old friends and meet all the new people!" Mighty added.

Sonic jumped up and quickly said, "I'll go and invite everyone!" He rushed out the door the instant after.

"Wait Sonic!" Amy exclaimed. "You just got back..."



Sorry for the abrupt ending, but this thing was getting kinda long.
