Since you just joined I'm not gonna close this topic immediately. The fan fiction you're posting about does need to be posted here though. I'm assuming something got screwed up when you were posting. Otherwise, this topic doesn't make much sense. If I come back in a couple of days and you haven't posted it I'll close this baby on up though.

Sonic The Hedgehog: The Quest for The Sacred Sword

Chapter 1

It all starts at the city Miniopolis where Sonic and Joe are standing at a tree.
Joe stares at Sonic, a blue hedgehog. "Why are you staring at me for?" Sonic asks. "I just wondered why aren't you allowed to go to Matt's world?" "You know that if someone saw me I would be taken to a lab." Sonic said.Joe stared away quietly for a minute.

Sonic ran off. "Where are you going?" Sonic didn't reply. Joe started to chase after him but was outrun by miles. As Joe stops he sees a statue of Matt. "You're real famous Matthew. But how?" Suddenly a portal came and Matt stepped out. Nicky stepped out with him. "Wow Matthew! Your world looks very similar to mine. "Hey Matt." "Hey Joe. Where is Sonic?" "He ran off just a second ago. I think he is at Red Villington." Matt jumped onto a teleporter right beside Nicky. "I guess he needs something." "You think it's a mission from the HQ?" "No! Obviously not because Miniopolis and Red Villington haven't had a problem in months."

"Sonic! Wait up or I will activate my slow time magic." Matt said while chasing Sonic in a high speed chase. Sonic stopped when he heard that thought through Matt's mind. He ran back to Matt. "There! It's about time I got to tell you we have a mission from HQ. I think that it's about Eggman!" "He has been ordering robots to destroy Soleanna. We have to go stop him!" "I really think you should do it." "Why Sonic? Your behavior over the six months of vacation has been rather weird. Your either looking for something or have secret business. It's just very strange." Sonic ran. "Stop!" As Sonic ran he dropped a note.

Matt read it. It said,

Dear general Sonic the Hedgehog,
We have a secret mission for you. We need you to locate and protect a sacred sword. It's called The Sacred Sword of the Ages. It's very hard to control but we think you can handle it. Once you find it you must take it to the Temple Of Swords. There you must take off the handle, then take the blade and put it on a holy handle. There you will bring it to the headquarters and we will keep it hidden for an eternity.
By the way, you must keep it secret.


"Why would the HQ make a letter like this? I am going to get this tested." At the HQ Matt tests the letter and finds that there is a imposter of the HQ. Amy comes in and says "Matt. Only part of the letter is true. The sword's power is uncontrollable and that Sonic can end up being evil. You must stop him from finding that sword. If you fail Sonic just might unleash a very powerful creature. Even more powerful than you and Sonic's power together." "Great! Just another problem besides Eggman. Now I have to stop Sonic. Amy, could you take care of my Eggman mission?" "Sure!" Matt ran after Sonic.

Before Matt saw Sonic flash in front of him, he threw a banana on the ground. Sonic slipped on it and fell. "OW! Who did that!" "I did. Sonic, that letter was an imposter for the real one. Eggman wrote the one you had." "How do you know about the sword?" "You dropped your letter. A real big mistake." "I need a better place than my glove." That sword you're looking for can make you evil and will unleash a powerful beast that nor you or I can beat. So I am coming with you." "Ok!" Matt and Sonic ran off to the Blue Edge Forest.

When Sonic and Matt got to the forest Matt felt a shiver. "What's wrong?" "I think I fill a shake in the ground. It feels so hard." Suddenly a big monster called Treotor (tree-O-tour) attacked them. Sonic spin-dashed the Treotor and it fell. Matt called his pet wolf to attack him. Then Sonic jumped and spin-dashed the creature into the ground. Soon after they saw a traveler near death. Matt used a healing spell to make the traveler better. After a couple of minutes the traveler left when he paid Matt twenty dollars. "Ok. I have like thirty dollars now. But you should receive half." Matt handed fifteen to Sonic.

Sonic put the fifteen in his pouch. Matt said "Hey! There's a tavern. Let's stay there for tonight and call Amy." They went into the tavern and Sonic rented two rooms and Matt called Amy. Amy said "Hello." "Hey Amy. Me and sonic are at a tavern in Blue Edge Forest. We are fine." "Oh. Thanks for calling to tell me." "Welcome. Bye." "Bye." Matt hung up the phone. Matt saw a man he knew. It was Knuckles. "Hey Knuckles." "Hey Matt. What brings you here?" "We are " "Who is we?" "Me." Sonic said. "I have no comment." "So Knuckles, what are you doing here?" "I am just visiting."

Matt turned to walk to the rooms. When he got there, he pulled out his key and went in. He left Sonic and Knuckles to talk. He knew they were rivals but friends also. When he heard someone knock on his door, Matt answered it. It was Sonic and Matt had made some tesa (tea-saw) (a special kind of tea that was sweet but sour also). "Hey Matt. I see you have made some tesa for us." "Well I guess that you and Knuckles fought down there according to your new scar on your face." "I guess we did." Sonic went into the bathroom and washed the wound.

When he came back out Matt healed his scar. After he was done you could not see it. "You do know that they have a sword room in here. I think we both could use a bit of training." Matt picked up the swords and threw one to Sonic. They both swung and stabbed at each other but didn't get hurt. After they finished Matt put the swords up and Sonic left Matt's room.

In Matt's dreams he usually dreams about his world and family but tonight." Tonight he dreamed of Sonic as the beast (just like in Sonic Unleashed). Matt woke up a couple of times and after the third he stayed up. In the morning he was dizzy. Sonic came in his room and noticed that Matt was drinking mosk (moss-k) (coffee) and watching television. "Oh, hey Sonic. How are you today?" "I'm fine but how are you?" "Well I am a bit dizzy and a bit hyper." Matt jumped up and left the room. Sonic found him outside amazed that Knuckles was waiting for Matt. "Hey Matt. How are you this morning?" "As I told Sonic, I am dizzy and hyper."

Matt walked away but Knuckles wouldn't let him go that easily. "Hey, come back here!" Knuckles said after chasing Matt. Sonic ran after them both. After a while Knuckles stopped searching for Matt. Matt waited silently in a tree until Sonic came. When he did Matt jumped down and looked around. Sonic stared lazily at Matt, wondering what was wrong. He didn't bother to ask. Suddenly a Treotor appeared and swooped up a hand of dirt. He threw it at Sonic, who dodged it. The plop of dirt landed on the ground.

Matt saw something shining in the pile of dirt. It was a Chaos Emerald. Matt ran to get it and was picked up and thrown over twenty miles. Matt had no idea where he was after he landed. He got up, brushed himself off, and went to look for Sonic. He had no idea of where to look but remembered he picked up the Chaos Emerald before he was thrown away. He used the Chaos Emerald to find Sonic. It showed him that Sonic was south of where he was.

Matt started searching for Sonic. When Matt got at least two or three miles he stopped to rest. When he woke up it was morning and the sun was up. He saw that he was farther from where he slept. He was twelve miles farther into searching for Sonic. He got up and started walking when he saw a tree filled with fruit. He jumped to try and grab one of the apples but missed. He climbed the tree and tried again. This time he got an apple and started walking on his way.

After a couple of hours Matt saw a blue blur. "Sonic!" suddenly the blue blur came and stopped right in front of Matt. "I searched for a day trying to find you." "Well I searched for you but fell asleep on a rock. Then I got up and used the Chaos Emerald to find you." Matt saw an old rackety house that had a cracked up window. He walked into the house and saw a television along with a fridge filled with sweet treats. Matt and Sonic went to lie down on the couches and relax. Matt remembered that the house was his. "I really need to get new windows for this place."

"That is true. But, you do have at least two houses in every city. You're quite lucky to have this one." Matt just looked at the television and picked up the remote. They both stayed there the rest of the night. The next morning they were too dizzy so they slept a couple of more hours. Sonic woke up and sat down and thought about the sacred sword. Matt woke up and saw Sonic on the couch. Matt got up off the bed and went to Sonic. "Hey! How are you?" "I am very confused and also." Also sleepy." He fell asleep. "Well I better get back to bed. Tomorrows a busy day." Matt thought. They did not know that someone came in and threw an injured man to the couch and throw him on.

Sonic and Matt woke up and saw the man. They took him to the hospital and the nurse said, "This man's wound happened a while ago. Were you two involved with this man being injured?" "No Nurse Arny. We didn't even know how he got in my lodge. We woke up and he was there." "Well thanks for bringing him here. You will be greatly respected when it's in the news." She took a picture of them standing with the peace sign stuck up.

"I guess we need to continue our search for the Sword of Ages." "Yeah we do." They both left the hospital and went to the store to buy some weapons. Sonic got a rare sword and Matt got an ultimate weapon. They left and left the town they were in. When they were in the woods wolves attacked them. Matt called his wolf and the wolves stopped. The wolves left and Sonic and Matt continued through the woods.

After a couple of hours of traveling they found a sign that said "Welcome to Singulton." "Hey, we're in Singulton, the town for single things. Sonic and Matt walked through the town and noticed there was a dark black sky. "I wonder why there is a very dark sky. Matt saw someone who had no pupil in their eye. "I think they are being controlled. It looks kinda weird." "Yeah, they do have a blank stare." Sonic looked around him and saw that everyone had a blank stare.

Just a pointer for your further posting on the forums. We like proper spelling and grammar around here, so capital letters and some punctuation in your posts would be a welcome thing. Thanks.

Chapter 2

“Why would everyone have blank stares for though? I mean, it isn’t natural for there to be no pupil in your eye.” Matt walked up to someone and slapped him. “And it looks like they can’t feel emotions either.” Sonic said hey to a person and got no response. “It’s weird. They can’t speak either. Something creepy is going on and I am going to figure out just what it is.” Sonic ran to a fortune teller and saw that she did have a pupil.

“And who might you be lad. Oh, I see, you’re Sonic and you came to ask why everyone looks like they lost their minds.” “That is exactly what I came to ask and why is there a very dark sky?” “The reason the people look like they have lost their mind is because of the sky.

This happens every year for a day but unfortunately it won’t end at all in time.” “Why?” “Because the color of the sky tells you different things in our town. Blue means that it won’t happen until next year. Red means that it will last for a week. Yellow means that it will rain for months until the next year. And finally, this color, black crystal, means that it will never end.

“Why won’t it end?” “Someone from the Dark Crystal Kingdom set this to happen. I beg you, for all of my people, travel to Dark Crystal Kingdom and stop the person doing this.” “I will do it for you.” “Thank you very much!” Sonic left and told Matt of the mission the fortune teller set for them. “Well, the sword can wait. They must need our help a lot.” “Yeah, they do. Let’s go.” They left on their journey.

When they were out of the town, Matt turned to Sonic and said,” Sonic. Why do we keep doing these missions?” “Well we do them because we both know that the world wasn’t in one piece.” “I know but we have been working for HQ for a long time. I mean, we haven’t had a vacation in a while and the second we actually do get a day or two this occurs.” Matt looks in the sky and sees storm clouds and they both went into a house a little while away.

When they stepped into the house Shadow the Hedgehog turned on his lights. “What are you doing here? Leave here now!” “Make us!” Sonic said. Shadow used Chaos Control and kicked them out. Matt stared at Sonic with a mad stare. “You had to say it, just had to say it. We have only 3, 2, 1 and whoosh!” It started raining and thunder bolted on Matt. He looked fried up and his hair standed up. “WOW! That was a very strong hit.

“Are you ok Matt?” “Well now I feel very shocked. I also feel energetic.” Matt went to search for materials for a hut. After he got back, Matt made a hut and Sonic and he went to sleep.

He dreamt that he was fighting a big beast with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow and Silver. It took awhile for him to dream that he fell through a hole and Sonic couldn’t save him.

He woke up saying “AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!” Sonic blasted out of the bed Matt made. “What! What happened!” “Nothing. Nothing. Just a bad dream.” Sonic and Matt went to sleep. When they got up they saw that they were at Dark Crystal Kingdom. They ran in and saw an elevator. “What happened to stairs?” Sonic stared at Matt like he was crazy.

They went into the elevator and Matt couldn’t understand a word the numbers meant. He just pressed a random button and waited. After a couple of hours the elevator stopped. Sonic and Matt found that they were on the thirteenth floor. “Ah crap!” Matt looked at the numbers. “What happened?” “The button I pressed brought us to floor 13. I hate these kinds of elevators.” Matt looked at the buttons. There were little numbers telling you what floor you were going to.

“I can’t believe that I didn’t see the numbers below the buttons.” Matt pressed the button that took them to the top floor. The floor number was 150. “I can’t believe that this one castle could be tall.” “You said it.” They both stepped out and Sonic fell through the floor. When he woke up he was in the dungeon of the castle. He thought “Where am I?” He looked around where he was. “I must be in the dungeon.” “I need a way to get out.” Sonic looked around and saw a hose.

He picked it up and sprayed it. It was no use because it wasn’t hooked up. He hooked it up and sprayed at the bars. They rusted after a couple of minutes. He spin-dashed the bars and they bent. He did it again and “CREEK!” It opened. Sonic rushed up the stairs. You know he goes at the speed of light so of course he was up the stairs in five seconds.

“Sonic! Where were you at?” “I was in a dungeon. It was all creepy and smelly that I nearly fainted.” “It must have smelled very bad for you to say that.” They both walked through the door where the person named Jamel. Jamel was Matt’s old friends and still is. “Jamel! How could you?” “Silence fool!” Jamel flung his hand at Matt and Matt flew and hit the wall. He fell to the ground knocked out. “Jamel stop! We both know you wouldn’t harm Matt.”

“SILENCE! AARRGG!” Jamel flung his hand at Sonic but missed because Sonic went to Matt. “Matt! MATT!” Sonic got no response. He filled with rage and dashed toward Jamel. He knocked Jamel down. He punched and did all sorts of things to Jamel. Matt got up and said “Stop Sonic.” Sonic stopped and ran to Matt. “Sonic! Look at him. He fainted.” Matt looked at the window. It was shaking fiercely. “We need to leave. And I mean now!”

Sonic and Matt started to run down the stairs because the elevator locked and collapsed. As they ran down, countless enemies attacked them. They nearly got out alive. “Wow! That was close chances slim to none.” They watched as the Dark Crystal Kingdom fell. The sky turned into a blue shine with no clouds. Sonic and Matt walked away and Susie appeared. “Susie!” “Where’s Jamel? I brought him this cake for his birthday.”

“Shoot! I forgot it! It’s Jamel’s birthday!” Matt looked very surprised. “What? Is it really his birthday?” A smirk snapped on Matt’s face. Sonic made a face. “What? It is his birthday but I forgot it. I think we should go tell him.” “I think we should.” Sonic started walking. Susie and Matt followed him. “So Susie, how are you and Jamel doing in your love?” “Well Jamel really doesn’t show his love for me.”

“I think I get the idea.” Matt said as he shot a smile as Sonic. “Ok! Ok! Have your laughs, but Matt I think we had something we need to do.” “Oh! Susie, we need to go. Could you tell him we said hey and happy birthday?” “Sure.” “Thanks!” Sonic and Matt ran down the path.

When they reached Mt. Super, Matt turned to look back at Singulton. “I guess we are far from home.” “Yeah we sure are. Let’s get some rest.” “Where?” Sonic pointed to a tavern right beside him. Matt walked toward the tavern and noticed he was getting farther and farther from Sonic. “Sonic. What’s going on? Sonic. SONIC!” Sonic looked back and saw a dark abyss. Matt was being pulled in. Sonic saw the Sword of Ages. Suddenly the black abyss closed and Matt was nowhere to be found.

Sonic was worried. He didn’t know what happened when suddenly a person appeared. “Don’t worry any more. You won’t remember him anyway.” “What! Who are you? AH!” Suddenly a flash occurred. Sonic thought “What the. What was I thinking about?”

Chapter 3

Matt was floating through an abyss. “They have no idea who they’re dealing with.” Suddenly Matt ended up in the real world. He got up. Matt was back in the real world but had no idea what happened. He started to walk. When he was at least thirty miles away from where he was, he saw Sonic. “Sonic stop!” Sonic came back. “Who are you?”

“It’s me. Matt.” “I don’t know you.” Sonic ran off. “Stop!” “What does he mean ‘I don’t know you?” Matt thought. He walked around the town from where he came. In Singulton Matt couldn’t find that anyone knew him. He thought that there must be something going on. Just then Matt remembered.

He saw Sonic holding something that he had gave Matt. “Am I in an alternate dimension?” “No I am not. Wait a second. That thing he has wasn’t shaped like this.” Matt teleported to Sonic. “Hey Sonic, remember this.” Matt pulled out the charm. “You gave me this thing years ago.” “I remember. I gave you that Matt.” “I know but why did you forget?” “I don’t know.”

Sonic explained what had happened. “And then the rest I don’t remember. All I know is that there was a man that said ‘You won’t remember.’ Matt thought for a second. He ran to the place he was sucked into the dark abyss. He grabbed Sonic and saw that there was the sword. “Look! It’s the sword.” Matt ran to pull it out but got pushed away by a force field. Then he noticed that he wasn’t in the spot he thought.

“Well we found the sword but not where I thought of finding it.” Matt looked around. “I think that we are at the mansion of twilight. I don’t know how we got here. It looks like there are some things that happen.” Matt and Sonic left the mansion to find Tails outside the gates.

“Tails, what are you doing here?” “I’m here to ask you if you want to come back to Miniopolis. Joe and Nicky are waiting for you to take them home.” “Oh! I forgot.” He looked toward Sonic but Sonic said “I know. Just go.” Matt nodded and left with Tails.

They took two days to get back to Miniopolis. “Well well. Look who it is. Did you forget to take us back?” “Yeah. I guess I forgot.” Matt opened a portal. Joe and Nicky jumped in. “There should be a door on the left saying home. Go through that door and you should be back.” The portal closed fast.

Matt rushed back to Sonic. He got to him in half a day, no stops. “That was fast Matt.” “Well we need to get the hint to getting the sword although I think that it was way to easy to find don’t you.” “Now that you say it, I do think it was easy.” “That means the sword we saw was a fake. And the force field was Eggman’s doing. I guess he is looking for the sword too.”

“So we have the advantage. He thinks that the sword we saw was real and we know it’s fake. So we just look for the real one and he can have the fake one.” Matt and Sonic took off fast. They ended up running into Shadow and Knuckles. “What do you want?” “We want to pass through here.” “You can’t because we are protecting it for the doctor.” “I should’ve known you two and Eggman are teaming up.” “Who cares what we do!” “Unfortunately, we do.” “The only way you’re getting through here is if you fight us.” “Is that a threat?”

As they fought, Sonic, Matt, Shadow, and Knuckles were hoping they would win. It turned out that Sonic and Matt won. They passed through the path and thought of why they had to fight Knuckles and Shadow. They both stopped and slept in a tavern. While in the tavern, Sonic and Matt chatted about the sword. As they chatted, there were truckloads of rain pouring heavily on the ground.

After a while it started to thunder. If you were fifty miles away in the springs you would hear it. When the two chit-chatters finally noticed, they went to sleep. After they woke up in the morning, they were on the trail to a city called Goldintown. They both thought that they could get a hint on where the sword was because they came up with where to hide it.

Once they were half way Matt looked at a map he took and never paid for it. “According to the map, we are half way from Goldintown. We better hurry if we plan to get there in time. They say that the ambassador is leaving in a day or two.” “What!” “We have an advantage. We have a day before he leaves and it only took three hours to get here.”

Sonic started running. Matt followed him but nearly couldn’t keep up with him. After they got to the town, Sonic and Matt were sleeping in a hotel. They woke up and ran as fast as possible so the ambassador wouldn’t leave before they got there. When they go there, Matt looked around the town.

He saw the ambassador just about to leave. Matt rushed and bumped into one of his ushers. “Oh! Sorry about that.” “I am ok.” Matt looked at the ambassador. “What is this nonsense? Someone get them out.” “Wait. Have to talk to you. Something about a certain sword so called the sword of ages.” “Wait. Let them talk to me.” The ambassador and Matt went behind a house.

“I have heard that you were the one who created the sword and I need to know where it is.” “I have no clue on what you are talking about.” “Then why are you wearing a sword necklace?” “UUMM! UUHH!” Matt looked at the wall. “Fine you got me. I know where it is and the secret is that it is in the Kowalt Forest. “WHAAAAT!” “That is like half way across the world.”

Matt used the phone he got a long time ago and called Sonic. “Hello.” “Hey Sonic guess. The sword is in the Kowalt Forest.” Matt heard the phone pop and Sonic was there in a flash. “What do you mean in Kowalt Forest?” “I asked the ambassador and he said it was there. Speaking of which, where is he?” Matt looked around but could not see him.

Matt was thinking about what the ambassador said. He couldn’t help but think why the sword would be in such a dangerous forest. He thought why it was there or why would they make a sword that dangerous. He just couldn’t think of the right answer.

Matt and Sonic looked and then walked off. They saw a car and took it. They finally noticed that the person that owned the car was Jamel’s. They thought that he probably wouldn’t know that they took it. As soon as they saw a tavern they went into it. This time it was a small old place. When they walked in, the small smell of fresh tasty fruit caught their attention so much that they bumped into a man.

I'm a guy. Good lord. I was referring to your first post, not the actual story. Just post the same way you do when you're writing and you should be fine.

Chapter 4

“Oh I am sorry I bumped into you!” Matt tried to say before the man said, “How dare you bump into me! I, the great Mingo will destroy you and your stupid friend with my martial arts skill.” Mingo jumped and did a kick against the wall. He cracked his foot. “OOOWWW! That HURT!”

“More like Mingo the idiot! No one is that stupid to kick a cement wall.” Sonic and Matt started laughing until Mingo grew in size. When he was about thirty feet tall they said, “WOAH! Did not see that coming.” They ran up the stairs when they saw them. They ran and ran but the hall was endless. It was maybe thirty minutes before they stopped running.

When they looked back they tumbled into a pile of boxes. Matt popped out looking like a king of England. Sonic popped out of the box as the president of the United States. “Oh look at me; I am the king of England. I like to eat fancy and look at the fancy Book of Hokes.” Matt said and they both laughed. “Well I am the president. I expect all of America to buy my stimulus package.” They both laughed again.

They jumped out of the boxes and walked out of the tavern. “You know, this place looks somewhat familiar in a way. Like it came out of something.” Sonic snapped a look at the tavern. Just at that moment a hedgehog named Sonis (Fan character I made) appeared. “Hey Matt. How are you?” “Sonis! I am fine thanks to you that night. How are you?” “Fine, though I heard just a minute ago that you are going to find the sacred sword. I doubt that you could do it alone. Can I come with you guys?” “Sure you can come. I think that three can do a lot more than one can. How about you, Sonic?” “I don’t care. By the way, who is Sonis?”

“I will explain this once. Sonis is kind of like you except he is real different. He can run as fast as you, and a lot of other things. If you both are together as a team, you can cause very much destruction. I think that it is best for you to get along with him. I’m sure you can do it.”

Chapter 5

“I think that we will be able to finish this together.” Sonis snapped a smile at Sonic. It has been thirteen hours since they left the tavern. Sonic, Sonis, and Matt were headed to Kowalt Forest. They had been through a lot of fighting in the past six hours. They had finally gotten a break.

“Let’s rest here for a while. Does anyone think different?” “NO!” Sonic and Sonis snapped very quickly. “Well, see you to…” Sonic and Sonis fell down asleep. “What the… Oh well, might as well set up camp.” Matt went to put up the tent he bought at the store ten hours ago. As soon as it was done, Matt dragged the two snooze infested hedgehogs into two different tents. He got in his and couldn’t sleep.

After a couple of hours he fell dead to the world. When Matt woke up, he saw that Sonic and Sonis’s tents were gone. They were at the middle fire looking at each other and chatting. “Good to see you two sleepy heads. I had to drag you to your tents.” “Yes you did and I am so sorry about that. I just fell out. It is like some kind of force made me go out.” “I think that is what happened to me too.” Sonis said. “Oh no.” Matt whispered to himself.

“I think that you both were very tired of walking. I couldn’t even get to sleep until a couple of hours. But don’t you guys have even a little pain to your heads from falling to the ground sleeping?” “Yes we do, but we ignore it so we don’t feel anything. Besides our pain went away a while ago.” “OK! But what did you guys do to eat. I mean didn’t you guys go fishing or something and catch a few fish?”

“Yes we did and we cooked them and left you a few. I think they got cold.” “I don’t care very much if it’s cold or not.” Matt grabbed a fish and ate it down to the bone. Sonic and Sonis grabbed one and ate it. When they finished they left for the forest. Matt looked around the village they entered after a day or two.

“I say we should split up and find some details about where Kowalt Forest is.” Sonis said. “We agree.” They all ran in different directions. Sonis went to the east, Sonic went to the west, and Matt went to the north.

Chapter 6

Matt’s Story


Matt was looking around when someone walked up to him. “Who are you and what are you doing here?” “I am Matt and I am trying to find out some information on Kowalt Forest.” “Kowalt Forest? You mean the one with the sword?” “That is exactly the one! How did you know of the forest…?” “I know one fact of Kowalt Forest. It is that you will need at least four people to enter the forest.” “Well that was helpful. See you later and thank you.”

Sonic’s Story


As Sonic was walking around a couple of people walked up to him. “Well hey Sonic. How are you? You sure you should be sneaking in these parts?” Sonic just creped to a wall and ran as fast as he could. When he stopped someone came over to him and said, “You will need this to pass the door to the forest. Use it wisely.” The man slightly knelt toward his hand and put something in it. “Th-th-thank you s-s-sir. Thanks a lot.” The man walked around the corner as Sonic came after him. When Sonic got around the corner the man was gone. Sonic mumbled “Creepy…”

Sonis’s Story


Sonis was walking down the street when suddenly he felt a shiver of wind. Suddenly he thought he was being watched. He turned and turned, but he saw no one anywhere. He started to walk when a person bumped into him. When he turned around, no one was there. He walked off, running back to meet the others.


When everyone had gotten back together, they discussed what they heard.

“I heard that we need four to go through the gates.” Matt said.
“I heard that we need this key to unlock the gate.” Sonic said.
“Well you have the key. And there are you, me and Sonis. WE ARE ONE SHORT!!”
“Calm down Matt. We need to know how to get a fourth person in our group. And that does mean a problem for us.”

“I think I know someone. How about Saxon? I’ haven’t seen him around, but I know where he is sometimes. He is always by the tree with the shadow that points north.” “Good.” Sonic jumped off the fountain he was sitting on. He slammed his hand on the fountain. Shaken to the ground by how hard the hit was, Matt got up. “Hey. Here is a tip. Next time, control the anger. Or do you want me to seal your emotions again.” “No-o-o-o way.”

“Yeah, you remember that feeling don’t you?” “Oh.”(Stretches) Sonic felt a shiver. “Never again.” “Ha ha ha ha ha.” Matt jumped up and down laughing his head off. Sonic pushes Matt down the street. Matt rolled round and round down the street and suddenly was knocked out. “Real funny Matt. Trying to trick me are ya.” Matt just lay on the ground knocked out. Cars all over the street didn’t hit him at all.

“We need to go get him Sonic.” Sonis rushed over to Matt. He felt Matt. “Sonic, there is no breath in him. We or you, more specific, should get him inside NOW!” Sonic got a trolley to put Matt in, and rushed him to an inn. Little did Sonic know about THIS SPECIFIC inn. It was Blue Ridge Fountain Inn. Matt had been in lots of fights here. Lots of people didn’t like Matt at all, and if you were a friend of his, you would be gone.

Matt woke up in a bed. He got up and looked around. “Oh Crap!” He took out his GCD (Global Calling Device). He put in Sonic’s GCD number. Wrong phone number, we are sorry. Please try again. (I know I put his number in.. it was 232-6502-505. Oh Crap! He changed it. Now I remember.) Matt put in different digits. “It was close to this. I know it. 232-6505-505.” He got a response. “Sonic. Do you know I did not remember your GCD number? I was off by one digit.” “Guess I didn’t tell ya then. I changed it before we were at the fountain. Remember all the prank calls?” “Oh!” “Why am I in BRFI?” “Blue Ridge Fountain Inn? I took you there a week ago. You’ve been out since then.” “OH MY GOD! Gotta go.” “Ok. Later then.”

Matt jumped out the window of the inn. He landed on the bank roof. “I’ve gotta put something there for when I get brought here.” He got up off the cold hard ground of the roof. He ran across the roof, then jumped into a secret entrance he put there a year ago which lead to beside the bank. No one knew about it though, except for the SS because they put it there.

“Ah! Away from the inn safe and sound once again.” Matt ran to find the others, but they were gone. “They left me here. Now I gotta find them again. This really turned out to be bad.” Matt, remembering he was the one with the map, took it out of his pocket. “Sonic has a copy of the map so, I can find them easily.” Matt traced the trail of them both. While Matt was traveling he used his GCD. He called Saxon. “Hello. Saxon not at the phone now. Please leave me a message.” Matt hung up and tried again. This time, he got him on the phone.

“Ok Matt. How can I help you today?” “I need your help to finish this mission. It’s pretty big for us both.” “Oh. Sounds interesting. Why don’t you come over?” “That’s the point. We are looking for the Sword of Ages.” “Who are we?” “Me, Sonic, and Sonis.” “Ok. Then where are you at?” “The entrance to Kowalt Forest.” Saxon hung up. He came through a portal. “Hey what’s up? Umm. Where is Sonic and Sonis?” “Yeah. They kinda stranded me in the hotel and went themselves. Guess where they left me.” “Oh! BRFI?” “Yep. Exactly there.

“Ouch! Did you use the secret....” “It won’t be so secret if you start blabbing it out.” “Ok! Where is the map?” “I have it right here. It shows where Sonic and Sonis are. I can find them easily. Then, get them both back.” They started in the forest. About half way through Matt was taken from the peek of an eye. “Ah!” Saxon snapped his eyes. “Where are you?” Suddenly he found Sonis and Sonic. “What happened?” “Matt’s gone. He was with me and he got took.”

At a fortress moments later:


“Who the?” “Hush!” Matt’s head hung low in silence. “You are getting tired of being told what to do. You are tired of doing missions for people who disrespect you. When I snap, you will be under my control.” *SNAP* “Let him go.” The minions let Matt go. “Go. Find your friends. And kill them.” “Yes sir.” Matt’s eyes were very dark.

At the forest moments after:

“Well We found the door.”

“THIS NEEDS FOUR PEOPLE TO OPEN!” Matt appeared

The story I have been making has been postponed for the longest period.
I will post more to it, BUT I need some ideas on how I can make this work.
I need some inspiration from my readers as to how I can make Chapter 7!
Please help me to decide this chapter go on!
I need the ideas and I will make sure I give credit to all who give their ideas.

Chapter 7

Matt was walking up to them. “And where exactly on Earth where you?” Saxon looked over Sonic’s shoulder. “Oh, where I was wasn’t important. All that’s important is being able to open that door.” Matt walked up to the door. Sonis was suspicious. Something funny was happening here. “Hey Matt. Come here.” Matt turned. Sonis got a good look at his eye. “You aren’t Matt!” He jumped at him. Matt dodged and jabbed Sonis in the back. Sonis fell on the ground.
“So you finally figured it out.” Sonic and Saxon turned toward them. “Matt, what on Earth…..” Matt jabbed Sonic in the head. He fell down. Saxon turned and ran, but Matt caught him. Saxon was on the ground within seconds. Matt took a crystal out of his pocket. “They should’ve known that you can use your ‘All Access’ crystal to open the door. What idiots they are.” He threw the crystal into the air.

Then he slipped it into his pocket. Matt walked into the door. About 2 hours later, Sonic, Sonis, and Saxon woke up. “Rats!” Sonic slammed his fist into his other hand. “We should’ve known that that was gonna happen!” “Don’t worry. It wasn’t your fault.” Sonis tried to calm him. Sonic couldn’t calm down, though. He knew that Matt was very powerful and wielded even the most powerful magic anyone knew.
Matt was in a dark cavern. He looked all around him, but all he saw was darkness. Suddenly a dark figure appeared. “Greetings, Matt.” “Who are you!”, Matt snapped. “You mean, you don’t know.” Matt shook his head, trying to remember who the man was. He had no idea. “But that isn’t important. I’m here to help you break free of this hypnotizim.” He held out his hand. “All you have to do is grasp my hand.”Matt saw it, but refused. “Are you sure?” The man held out his hand again. “You have only one chance. If you refuse, you may never break free.” “Why is that?” Matt snapped.

“You don’t know. That sword you are searching for drains you of your strength as you get closer. The same thing is happening to Sonic.” “How do you know Sonic!!” Matt drew his attention a little bit in. “How do I know you? How do I know Sonic? Why do I know this? The answer is clear you know! “And what is that answer?” Matt snapped. “I know this because I am you. From the future, about a few years. I came back here to help you, to guide you.”

“Sorry to disappoint you, but you aren’t me!” “Yes, you think that. But we will see.” The man conjured up the Sword of Oblivion. Matt jumped back at seeing it. “The…. The Sword of Oblivion!” “Only you could conjure it.”He swung it at Matt. Matt jumped back. “Well.” Matt started to laugh. “You want to challenge me, then go ahead. But know this…” He conjured a sword. “I’ll always win!” They started to battle.

I like reading this, andI'd ask that when you change speakers, you also start a new paragraph. It makes it easier for me to read, and also to follow who is doing the speaking. Also, (and I'm sorry for not knowing how to quote things in boxes yet) in chapter 4 when you write the paragraph:

[They jumped out of the boxes and walked out of the tavern. “You know, this place looks somewhat familiar in a way. Like it came out of something.” Sonic snapped a look at the tavern. Just at that moment a hedgehog named Sonis (Fan character I made) appeared. “Hey Matt. How are you?” “Sonis! I am fine thanks to you that night. How are you?”]

You have introduced Sonis in this paragraph. I believe that this deserves something better than a parenthetical reference to him being a fan-character. It breaks the flow of the story. You might consider referencing his fan-character nature using extra dialogue, like "Sonis! I haven't seen you since _____". Then readers could figure it out and it would stay in story. That's just my opinion. Keep writing, I'll keep reading!

Chapter 8

Matt stumbled backwards. It was half-way through the fight, and he was losing. "How come I am losing to a fool like you?" "Because.... I am an older version of you. I have had more training and have more experience than you." "That would explain it.", Matt said as suddenly the older Matt charged at him. Matt would have been cut in half, wasn't the fact that he saw him coming. He stumbled.

"For an older me you certainly are a little bit clumsy." Matt chuckled. That was just what the other Matt wanted. He struck head-on. Matt fell on his back, and the Sword Of Oblivion fell out of his hand. He huffed for some air, but there wasn't any luck. He fell unconsious. The older him looked straight over him. "By the way, I should've mentioned you didn't have a choice. He took Matt's hand in his. They disappeared, leaving nothing but black darkness.

Matt woke up in a torch lit hall. "Where.... Where am I?" He stood up on his feet. He scanned his surroundings. "Crap... I can't remember a thing." Suddenly Sonic, Sonis, and Saxon appeared. "Uh... Hey?" Saxon slapped the crap out of him. Matt stumbled. "Hey!.. What.. What was that for? IT hurt!" Sonic and Sonis looked at him. "Were you daydreaming or something? You came right..." "Right where we were. You beat us up, and just walked in here! We thought you were possessed or something.", Saxon cut in.

"Well, sorry if that happened to you, but I didn't do it. As you plainly see, I have nothing to hurt you guys for." They all agreed with him. "Anyway, shouldn't we be getting through here soon. I heard that you only have a few hours to get out." They started running in.

As they kept running, they found the exit. The door was closing, and it wouldn't open again. Sonic and Sonis jumped up and rushed everyone out. "Ok. That was not fun." Matt knocked Sonis in the head once. "Anyway, I think we're near the sword."

Sonic stumbled. Matt turned. "Uh... Sonic... Are you ok?" "I don't know. I feel a little bit frizzy." He fell. Matt recalled a little of what happened. He helped Sonic up. "I think I know what's happening." He started to explain. Everyone grabbed Sonic and they continued through the forest. They came to a clearing after a few hours. Matt saw a pedistal. "Is that?" He ran to it. Sonic told Sonis and Saxon to let him go. They did, and sure enough he had gained back some of his strength. He walked over to the sword.

"Move over... Just a little." Matt did. Sonic grabbed the hilt of the sword. He tryed to pull it out. After a few times, he was successful in doing it. Suddenly a burst of power gained around him. Matt was blown away. He stood up quickly. "What's happening?!" Sonic tried to drop the sword but couldn't. "No...", Matt whispered. He started a fair sprint toward Sonic. "DROP IT! DROP IT NOW!" "I'm trying!" Suddenly Matt stopped in his tracks.

Sonic suddenly started to change form. He grew taller. His body started to shift into that of a dragon's somewhat. He grew claws and wings. He started to grow a long tail. His eyes shifted from green to a dark red. Everything about him changed.

Matt stumbled backwards from a huge shockwave he made with the sword. "Oh Crap!" Sonic turned. He had lost all consiousness. He was a beast now. Matt jumped upward, trying to slam him, but couldn't. He was just to big. He tried to run, but Sonic (Unconsious) grabbed him. "I will destroy you and your pesky little friends. Muahhahaha!" He threw Matt across the forest. Matt was about to stop when he slammed into a wall. He became unconsious too. Sonis and Saxon had totally run from the scene, trying to get help. They were too late though because Sonic had already knocked them flying with his tail.

After a few hours Matt managed to crack open his eyes. He saw a wall, and people looking over him. "What.... What Happened?" He turned his head. He saw Sonis and Saxon, both lying on the fountain side. He struggled to get up. He was still hurting from the collision with the wall. He finally got up, and started walking over to Sonis and Saxon to see how they were.
