Huh, not bad. I'll have to give it a look-see.

Update, I just watched Hulk vs Wolverine and I'm about to watch Hulk vs Thor. HvW was good but, like it's been said, is too short. Deadpool didn't have enough lines either.

Also, did I miss something, or is Deadpool being able to reattach a dismembered limb just by holding it up to his arm completely ridiculous?

Not really. Many people have lost parts of fingers or broke bones and they been reattached. Plus his insane regeneration powers.

So the revival of this topic reminded me to check these out.

Hulk vs. Thor was as awful as the rest of the Lionsgate/Marvel animated titles. Hulk vs. Wolverine was slightly better than the rest, almost purely because of Deadpool, but it was still subpar.

Both movies feature really cheap animation -- at some points I could actually count frames -- and while Lionsgate/Marvel finally cleaned up the godawful airbrushing effects they were doing for character shading, they have regressed significantly in terms of actual coloring quality. The character designs, with a few exceptions, go from unappealing (Thor looked like he had been hit in the face by Hulk even before it happened) to completely awful (Sabretooth and his dainty ankles). Both movies needed far more exposition than they got, which is the cost of being packaged together and averaging like 35 minutes each. Even as an excuse to do 20-25 minutes of mediocre, poorly choreographed and paced fights, the writing was really terrible anyway, with lots of cliches and ham-fisted dialogue. Without fairly extensive prior knowledge of the characters in these stories, no one's motivations make any sense at all.

For once, the voice acting was decent, though.

These are, as they have always been, just money grabs. I don't know why I watched these.

The DC Animated Universe movies and even TV shows make this stuff look even worse. Between these two and the new Wonder Woman movie, it's not even a contest.

I still don't get how healing and regeneration powers can help a person reattach an arm just by holding it up to the stump it was severed from. I mean the first time it made more sense because her arms were mechanical, but still...

I think KennEH's explanation is perfectly good. The limb was severed for barely 30 seconds, and when "reattached" to someone who regularly regrows organs and limbs anyway, it was no big deal.

Deadpool's healing factor is better than Wolverine's. In the comics he was once decapitated and survived after his head was placed back on his shoulders.

Oh, well then I obviously haven't read far enough into the comics yet. Moving that up on my to-do list.

Ah. I have Cable & Deadpool, I just haven't gotten to reading them yet. I've just been reading the Deadpool comics.

Didn't Deadpool also recover from being melted into a puddle?
