Mario firmly strode through the baleful forest, desperately searching for any clue that would indicate where on earth he was.
Hours passed without any luck, he came to a spot where the moonlight penetrated the thick woods, he sat down on the ground to rest.
He sighed, looked to the left... just woods, looked to the right... just woods. He laid down for a moment, glaring at a night sky which he had never seen before, the stars were bright, almost hypnotic.
Mario closed his eyes.
He started to think about Luigi, Princess Peach and all his other companions that were missing in the silence, a flash of Mushroom Kingdom on fire slashed through his mind, Bowser gloating upon Mario's absence and about to deflowe...
'AAAAAH!', screamed Mario, he was sitting staight up and heard birds flying away, he shivered a second from the echo of his scream.
Mario bent his head fore over, letting it rest in his hands, he had a terrible headache, 'Mamma-mia...', he mumbled.
All of a sudden he heard footsteps and the rustling of leaves behind him, in a fraction of a second he stood up and turned around.
'Who is there?', he asked with a damped shout.
