You see, our senior shirts are ugly as hell. So I decided to do something about it to try to make us as a class look better. Here's something I put together over about 3 days between classes, etc.:

My problem is that this teacher wants it colored and finished, but she didn't specify a time period or deadline that I have to meet. If anyone has a program that can take this and smooth it out (straighten lines, make black and white the only colors with no off-pixels) like Photoshop or Fireworks, would who you mind doing this if you have the time somewhere around Friday-Saturday? It'd be much appreciated.

& I rescaled the image.

Our shirts suck too. Probably the only semi-decent one was the picture of a 409 bottle on the front with "So fresh and so clean." written on the back.

Actually she wanted me to put "Floating on Cloud 9..."

FUCK THAT!!!

Assuming you're also a senior: "Last of a Dying Breed."
It means we're the last of the single digit years: '07, '08, '09 and cut.

I'd say the best program for a thing like that would be Illustrator. I have no time for it though.

Our art club is like all drawing anime people. I'm pretty sure none of them arre good at computers because I know most of them.

You know, the '08 Seniors at my school had one of the best shirts ever. It was a green tye-die, and on the back it had a "top ten things you'll here from a Medina '08 Senior" list. Number 5 was "Chipotle's not just a restaurant, it's a way of life." and number 3 was "Mr. Farson, can I please have my cell phone back?... and my car keys?"

You know, thinking about this, there must be a font out there that looks very close to that, and a cursive font is nothing to find. Flourishes are a little harder, but I have some vector ones available anyway if you need them. The shit around the border might as well be Helvetica Black. Add some strokes and that's 75% of the battle right there. Then you just have to do the chains, which honestly is not much work in Illustrator.

But all I have is MS paint!!! And I want the border to be wood. Well I'll look.

Just torrent illustrator. It comes with a 30-day free trial.

Gimp probably won't cut it and Illustrator isn't some magic solution; you have to learn to use it, which takes far more time than Photoshop in my experience.

That's way too small to print well. You're probably gonna want something that's at least 200 dpi. Also way too many colors unless you're doing iron-on transfers from an inkjet or something.

The only problem I noticed is that you fucked up with anti-aliasing, so now there is a bunch of white dots everywhere around the text and such.

There's probably more, but I don't know anything when it comes to graphic design.

EDIT: Damn you, Sway!
