Am I the only one who thinks this has a big chance of failure? Well there is only one trailer out yet so I hold off my final verdict. Though the original was short for a reason.

Why would it be a failure? The original is one of the best games for the Wii.

I guess it really depends on how they put it together. Some stories work with sequels, some don't. No More Heroes is definitely up in the air as to whether or not a sequel to the story would work well.

It'll probably be a great game regardless though.
Sometimes I wonder if I'm missing some all important truth in the world. At that point I usually grab some chips and watch the people who have apparently found it tear each other apart in the super market over the now last bag of chips...

This makes the ending to the game a lie. Did you see his weapon? Way too much upgraded, I like how junkish the original looked, it was like it was made for Travis. Finally the jetpack chick? That looked really lame.

That being said though I could be totally proved wrong here as I've only seen less than a minute of the game that isn't even gameplay.

You didn't get the real ending (or the Tsubasa MK-III), did you?

Also, the jetpack chick looks lame?! In a series where enemies ranged from a fat old lady with a giant laser, to a foppish magician?!

You stop talking now. Seriously.

"Oh god, they're making a sequel to a really good game! Oooooh nooooo!"

It just didn't seem to fit the current world. I also take back the sword part if you can get it.

Fat lady giant laser. Not hot Final Fantasyish spider jetpack-thingy. It starting to look like there trying to take themselves seriously.

I highly doubt they're starting to take themselves seriously. Now I can understand people saying "oh, it's gonna be shit" if it's another Sonic game because of the track record. But the first game was great, and there's nothing indicating that they're going to flop on this one. I honestly think it's going to kick ass.

A sequal to the game that was so awesome, my Wii almost ker-sploded? That will get a "Fuck Yes!" from me.

I don't know how the jetpack chick could look too far removed from the established setting for NMH... She seems kind of like a stylistic cross between Destroyman and Holly Summers to me.

In any case, I've already gushed about this game plenty, but suffice to say, I'm incredibly pumped. I recall saying that the original NMH was a masterpiece that was only marred by a few tiny flaws in the game design, and if those flaws could ever be worked out in a sequel, you could very possibly have what would theoretically be the perfect video game.

I don't see how a jetpack chick would be out there period. The 5th rank boss from the first game was a giant brain (which you never got to fight).

And did no one notice the jetpack between her legs that just happened to pop out just after all the other ones?!

Really, taking themselves too seriously?! When their teaser had a blatant Terminator reference like that?!

Honestly, it blows my mind how some people just want to dislike something, and come up with the goofiest, flimsiest reasons for doing so.

You should see some of the shitty reviews for the first game. 2 idiots actually gave the game a 2/10 and a 3/10. All they did was bitch about repetition and graphics. They even bashed the sound/music.

It's a very stylish game, thus you'll either hate or love it.
