This story will begin when Sonic is born. It shows us his roots, the first time a Chaos Emerald is discovered, the creation of Dr. Ivo Robotnik,(Not Eggman), and will tell the tale of WHY Sonic is the Blue Blur and why he is the Hero of today.
My friend and I will be writing this story, I will post Bits of it here to give you guys an idea of what to expect, but it will be a Flash animation show on newgrounds. It will be easy enough to find, my screen name is the same there as it is here.
Expect the Prolouge soon.

Prolouge Pt1:
Myrian Valley
11:45am
The air echoed with the sound of helicopter blades. The Elder adjusted his cloak as he waited for the craft to land.
Upon landing, a man stepped onto the meadow. He was about five feet and eleven incehs tall, with a long white lab coat. His head was smooth and shiny, for he was bald, and had no hair save for his thick, uneven white mustache.
"You are late Professor," the Elder called out, " I told you that this was of the greatest importance."
"My apologies," he replied while fixing his thin rimmed glasses, " my son wanted to show me his experiment for a new power source."
"Regardless, Gerald, we have little time."
The two left the landing zone and made their way into the valley below. Green Hill Valley, the last haven for the descendants of the first Seven. Gerald Robotnik was the man who had discovered the animals that lived here, and ensured that it remained safe from the world.
"So, what is it that is so urgent, old friend?" Prof. Robotnik asked.
"The Prophecy," was all he replied.
"So you have uncovered more of it then?"
"Yes, but it is still incomplete. We are in constant effort to uncover the rest."
"You work too hard Charles," Gerald told him.
Charles pulled back his hood and ran his hand through his gray spiked hair.
"Someone in this village has to."

If I go crazy, Will you still call me Superman?
If I'm alive and well, will you be there holding my hand?
I'll keep you by my side with my super human might
Kryptonite.
