Info
Name:Aaron Waterhog
Age:16 in Earth years
Gender: Male
Species: Water Elemental (generally appears as a hedgehog when he picks a shape)
Fur/feather/scale/skin: Water (he usually appears blue or clear)
Eyes: Blue
Height: Depends on what's going on. Usually slightly shorter than Sonic
Build: Usually either watery or near average (on the skinny side)
Attire: When in water form, a Glowing blue sapphire that hovers around him. When solid, white gloves with sapphire wrists cuffs and blue shoes. Sapphire may or may not still hover around him in solidified form. Can morph other clothes if the situation calls for it. Appearance in general may differ depending on occasion.

Weapons/Items/Powers/Abilities:

1)Solidify: Aaron enters a more solidified form. x points from agility and y from vitality are added to strength as a result of less a loss of the freedom that comes from being made entirely of water and mental strain. He can add on to or reverse the effect himself with all stats added back to their original places, or it will be reversed automatically if his vitality hits 1 or lower with only half of the stats replaced. Any points used over the default strength value will not be returned, and must be covered (which points are taken from which stat are up to Aaron's discretion). The agility and vitality taken cannot be greater than half of the original amount.

2)Sapphire Blade: Transforms a sapphire from his homeworld into a crystal blade. (Melee, Offense: 4, Defense: 2, Chosen Wielder, Indestructible)

3)Water Body: Aaron is granted exceptional speed and flexibility due to his body structure (2x agility) He can also go underwater indefinitely and swim without using strength, agility, or vitality. He takes 1.5x damage from electrical attacks. Counts as a source of water for all intents and purposes. Takes double damage in temperatures above 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Anything requiring agility requires double at temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.

4)Hydrokinesis: Aaron is able to control water in any of its states of matter. Takes 1/2x the size of the body of water (ocean and up = 5, lake up to ocean = 4, river up to lake = 3, stream up to river or self= 2, anything smaller than a stream = 1) points of vitality for regular water, 2x the points points for the other states (due to the stain of having to deal with ice's immobility and steam's natural tendency to expand). All are tripled if the source is tainted (seawater, chemical spill, fly in the ice, etc.) (Special ability, if used to attack, strength of attack = size of water body + 1 + 1/2x size of body of water. If the source is tainted, the +1 is a -1. It is possible to use less of the source to conserve vitality (using a river sized amount of the ocean instead of the whole thing). Similar if used defensively, however the result is multiplied by 1.5 if the source is ice or .5 if it is steam.) Water vapor can be siphoned out of the air at the smallest value, if the situation allows (no volcanoes for example). Damage and defense are doubled against fire defense and damage, respectively and are halved against electric defense and damage respectively. Also has non-battle uses (putting out a fire, etc.).

Note: Any value in the above skills that would cause something to equal a non-whole number is rounded to the number that would be least convenient for Aaron, unless it would cause something to be equal to 0, in which case it would be 1.

Stats:

Strength: 4

Agility: 17(34)

Vitality: 9

Lesser skills:

Swimming
Running

Character Development

Backstory: In a distant solar system of a distant galaxy, there lived a civilization of water elementals. There, Aaron was born, the crown prince of the Waterworld. There, he lived a happy life among the rest of his people. However, like all good things, this time had to come to an end. Enemies of his planet sought to destroy his kind. And while the planet's defenses were down, they did.

Before the planet was destroyed, Aaron was sent to a far away planet where it was presumed that he would be able to survive after the destruction. The planet chosen was Earth.

Since arriving, Aaron has settled into life on this planet fairly well. He has discovered other elementals from the same galaxy, however he has yet to find another from his planet. He tries to help anyone he comes across, and would not harm anyone, because of the pain that he had to suffer from losing enerything and everyone he held dear.

Personality: Smart, kind, trustworthy, adventurous, determined, fun-loving

Example post: Aaron had someone or something following him. He knew it. The forest was far too silent. “Target acquired,” spoke a mechanical voice from behind him. Aaron broke into a run. Why robots tended to say that when they were sneaking up on someone he would never know, but know he knew where it was. Unable to see where he was going through the thick trees, he ran into a small robot with a splat (9-1=8vitality) and lost his form. “Preparing for capture.” The robot unleashed an weak electrical discharge into the puddle that was Aaron (8-2x1.5=5 vitality). When Aaron recovered from the shock, he quickly slid away from his robotic attacker and reformed. “Come and get me, rust bucket.” The robot lunged at him at full speed and attempted to hit Aaron with another charge, but Aaron parted his body and the attack just passed through (34-2=32agility) and solidified his form to halt any movement from his aggressor (28 agility, 8 strength). He then pulled a sapphire out of his body. “This is going to hurt you more than it is going to hurt me,” he said as his gem turned into a blade, and he immediately jammed the blade into the robot's head (6 damage, 8-6=2 strength) causing it to crumple into a heap at his feet. He returned the blade to it's original form and, with a smirk, said, “That was easy enough.”

A twig snapping behind him caught his attention. “Not again...”

Oh sweet and merciful (name of deity here)... You really thought this out, didn't you? I mean, this isn't just detailed, but it looks like more work went into this than most of the RPs themselves on this site combined. Wow, are you going into game design or something?

(The above questions are all rhetorical, but you PM me with answers if you like.)

Anyway, this character is incredibly balanced and my only issues are with how complex his Hydrokenisis skill looks and his ability to transform something into a weapon with no cost, but I seeing you gave enough weaknesses to balance this out, I can let that go.

CHARACTER APPROVED.
