Another type of whatever NiGHTS is, except female. That reminds me...is NiGHTS a girl or a boy. I thought he was a boy, but some ppl say he's a girl. Well, whatever he is is what he is.

I'm seriously getting tired of posting art from MS paint. I'd post art from paper, but I'm struggling to get my web cam working. When I do, you may or may not be impressed.

Please comment. You're also welcome to crticize if you'd like.

You have been told in your other topics that you need to basically have one topic and keep all your shit in one topic. I did drink some coffee and in the midst, I saw that I was a bit harsh on one of the younger members... So, I apologized, so it's all good people. I am only a bitch sometimes, but I know how to fix a wrong, even if I'll never admit to being wrong, because I'm not.

Anyways, I like the chao thingy. It reminds me of one of the toys my little boy plays with. It's pretty cute.

The lines are bit wobbly and very rough, which makes it hard on the eyes.
I know you wouldn't consider this 'pixel art', but it would help to use some of the techniques from it to make the art's linework a bit better, like trying to keep the line's width to one pixel, and try to make your lines more round.

Here's a good tutorial on curves: http://www.spriteart...s/01_lines.html

Of course, this won't help as much in traditional art, or digital art that uses anti-aliasing, but it will help make your art as long as you continue using Paint in this style.


EDIT: Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to add a little more shading. A lot of the picture looks a
bit bland because it's just one color paint bucket'd on.

Uhhh...that really doesn't help. I already know about that stuff. Well, you'll have to explain the pixel part to me. I don't really know what pixel art is. Educate me.

EDIT: Oh, and don't save your artwork as JPEGs, they leave all sorts of annoying artifacts; instead use PNGs.
