Hi, welcome to our makeshift forum. :)

We lost a lot of our work in a hard drive crash (but let's say it was a hurricane), but we are working hard to recover and want to field a functioning site this summer.

In the meantime, we're trying to build a community. ;)

Sonic Online will include articles, news, downloads, fan work, and much more I can't remember right now. Eventually chat and site-wide instant messaging will be available. Also coming are games and unique extras such as a points system with points you can redeem for extra features (i.e. more private message storage space, your own image gallery, access to special areas, etc.).

If you have any ideas/suggestions, want to write an article, have something to submit, or anything else, please PM either Babylon or I and we'll help you.

Thanks for listening. :)

P.S. We will eventually need to get a dedicated server, which will be about $100 a month, so if you want to buy a little server space for cheap, let Babylon or me know again, because we can give you some really great deals. PHP, Perl, any other scripting language you'd need, very flexible on space and data transfer--we'll probably have 30GB+ in HD space and 350GB+ in extra data transfer, and much more. The more who sign up, the lower the price. We'll even design your site for a one-time fee (don't worry, we're good, much better than this site indicates :))!
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

Nah, not a game, just another web site. However, it will have some unique things such as instant messaging, (what I think are) interesting articles, and, well, also some online games to play. One day, way down the road probably, I hope to do a Flash virtual world you can hang out in, but for now, just a web site. :)

Sonic Advance is Cool, but I like Sonic Advance 2 more, except for one thing: the bonus Stages. In Sonic Advance 2 you have to collect enough rings, but I think that they are a little hard to see... Well, than again, I hate how you have to GET to the stage.

Well, than again, some other people like it more than the bonus stages in the first one. Anyways, it's really cool. because now you only start with sonic, and you have to unlock everyone else, along with some other prizes...

Bah, I'm bored.

Sadly, though, I haven't played Sonic Advance 2 as much as I would like to. I mean, I have it, and I have gotten pretty far, but I have been playing a lot of Phantasy Star Online for Gamecube. Talk about fu (I currently have 8 characters, with one that's level 120, hehehe... sadly offline only at this point, though.)

Well, if it looks like I'm a traitor to sonic, I'm not. I mean, I've got all 180 Emblems on SA2:B for Gamecube. That was a month of fun.

Well, I'm off to my abyss of boredom again...
I'm just asking for trouble, aren't I?

 There's a stranger here... And it happens to be me... Although, to some people, they should know how I am... But in the meantime, just call me.... Mysterious Kitsune. Mwahahahaha!

*Smirks*

Iie.

Only a moron would say that they themselves are an idiot...

As for my Japanese knowledge, the last time I took a lesson was back in 5th grade. And they only allowed us kiddies to have it twice a week. It's been nearly eight years since then.

Oh, good. I thought that you might have been one of those people who watches SUBed anime and tries to say that they know Japanese.

I took three years of Japanese, now I take Latin. (My high school doesn't offer Nihongo)

Scribere at Legere non possumus.
Hehehe.. good ol' Latin

I know a few phrases in Spanish, but My favorite sentence is "No Comprendo Ingles why Espanol."

Actually... I don't watch SUBed anime... I'd rather watch Dubbed. Simply because I'm a busy person... I don't have the ability to sit down and read through everything. If I hear it, I can comprehend it much better. The only time I see SUBed is at Anime Club here at the college.

I watch dubbed becase I'm too lazy to read the subtitles.

Then again, there are some Anime serieses that I can only find online in Subbed format, so I'm really not opposed to Subbed, either.

I have some questions for you both:

What is so great about anime? I just don't get it. :( What makes you watch it over a regular movie or series? Does the mouth actually match up with the voices if it's in Japanese? Why, if it's made in Asia, are the characters mainly white? I have more, if you want to hear them. :)

Because Anime does things that People don't do in Western shows. It's crazy, but it works out. That, and because it IS animated. All animation made in the US that's not made for children is sh*t (except for a few involving Matt Groening.

the reasons that I watch it over a regualr movie or series is because lately there haven't been any very many good movies, and I don't really care about what's on TV except for the Simpsons.

Yes, the mouth movements and the speech move together. They work very hard so that it does that after it's been translated (In Spirited Away, there are several parts where the main character speaks VERY fast.

The characters are mainly white because it's just Japan. Japan had bought into a lot of propaganda. Ever notice that most super models are white? That's why.

So then, what are your other questions?

What, no other response to my answers. Also, while watching one of the bonus features on Animatrix earlier (something having to do with the history of Anime...) I remember something else that's great about anime. It doesn't limit itself like Western Animation. That's always great.
