I'm gonna call that it was an abduction for the bachelor party, though. I don't think that fit the Skinner's M.O. Although it was pretty well done, but I guess all Dex's friends are cops.
What is it that makes a complete stranger dive into an icy river to save a solid gold baby? Maybe we'll never know.

God damnit, Dexter is such a fucking badass. That scene with George King was amazing. Not just the escape and fight, but the awesome psychological stuff as well. Great season ender. For all its flaws, and for all its trouble with a slow start this year, I still end every episode grinning, and I still think this is an incredible show. I'm so sorry I have to wait until September 2009. Overall, I'd put this season above season two but still below season one.

A lot of stuff happened that I really wanted to happen. I desperately wanted a Dexter/King showdown, I wanted some more Prado tension, and I wanted Deb to just have some shit fall into place so she'd stop being so mopey and annoying. As a side note, I really enjoyed Deb and La Guerta sharing a cupcake. I just wish this last episode was longer, because it kind of needed it since things got resolved so quickly.

Wow, I pretty much agree with everything you said there. Overall an amazing season that kept getting better with each episode. I'm so fucking glad I started watching this show.
