I know it's just a test release, I'm just saying it shouldn't be called "Balanced" Brawl yet. Also, I don't hate it or anything, and I like several of the changes. I especially enjoy what they did to Ganondorf.
However, I hate how many and how much people are praising it. It's still needs a lot of work. It's got the potential to be awesome, but I don't think it's a good rebalancing as of yet.

You know that this release is their big "test release", right? If you skim the thread (fuck reading 200+ pages) you'll notice that there are definitely planned changes in the next version. Also, if the characters are even .01% closer to being balanced, I call that an improvement over normal Brawl. By the way, you can turn off their stage modifications. I sure did.
@Gold: Miss this part? "By working in conjunction with Smash Stack, a new program written by Comex, Balanced Brawl can be booted on any Wii, including Wiis without the Homebrew Channel! That's right, hacking your Wii with HBC installation is no longer a requirement! All you need is an SD Card (2 GB or smaller required), a Wii, and a copy of Brawl to play."

I didn't miss anything because I never read anything, hence why I said I don't care about mods.
