So there's this really good book called I Am Legend. Many people cite it as a lot of the inspiration for modern zombie movies. It doesn't directly involve zombies, but more of a group of creatures that are like zombies, but more akin to vampires. It doesn't just focus on survival though, it also involves the psychosis of the main character, who is the last person on earth. It's really a good read.

Anyway, I just found out that there's gonna be a movie adaptation of this book coming out in December. I'm pretty excited about it.

I never read the book, but this movie looks very interesting. I'll be sure to see it when it comes out later this year.

There actually was a movie adaptation of it in the 70's... It was called "Omega Man" though. It was pretty good too.
