No offense, but he doesn't make many wholly convincing arguments. "Keith Richards as Jack Sparrow's dad: 'nuf said." Sure that must make a film good. I could rip apart a number of the other bullet point arguments, but I really don't feel like it tonight.
If people liked it, that's great, but personally I think if these movies are considered amazing and the types of movies people really class as something great that other films should aspire to be like, I'd never want to watch another movie in my life.
Edit: Oh, and Geoffrey Rush was great. He absolutely gave the best performance out of all the actors.

I wasn't really going into the theater expecting a film full of meaning. I wasn't even expecting to see a movie that really made you think. I was just going to the theater for some good, mind-rotting, swashbuckling fun. That's exactly what I got. The fight between Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones was great, and overall I really liked the movie.
Granted not all of this guy's points are great, but overall it was a badass movie, and that's what I went in expecting.

The thing that pissed me off was there was a too many jokes, every five minutes there had to try and make you laugh. It was fine for the first while, but then in parts were it wasn't needed it was still put in.
The only other thing that was dumb in my opinion.
With that aside, I enjoyed the movie a lot more than I thought I would. I had a plot and just filled with tones action like I thought it would. I was very interested in the story and the characters. The jokes though a little excessive at times were funny.
Saying this was the worst film ever is clearly an overstatement. There are many movies I could say are worse.
