Not bad, not bad at all. You had the right idea with the lighting, but it's not highlighting the subject matter in a pleasing way; it's highlighting the wall, and the focus of the image is lost. And I know you're an amateur and have no control over lighting, but these are things that have to be accounted for.

Hmm, I see what your saying. I do edit my photos and play with the lighting and contrast features, yet I'm not that sure how to get them to work for my pictures yet. I'm working at it though! Thanks for your comment, Sway!

Yeah, another topic revival. I've decided to hop right back on the photography bandwagon, and got some new shots today. And, good news! This Christmas, I'm getting my OWN, higher-qaulity camera, a tripod, and pssibly Photoshop! I'm excited, because those three things could quite possibly make my photos ten times better! WEE!
